Mercy Neighborhood Ministries is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation
registered with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. As a non-profit
organization, the ministry depends on the generosity of financial
contributions to help it succeed in its mission.
Your financial contributions will enable Mercy Neighborhood Ministries
to serve the Tioga neighborhood by helping to provide such things
as:
- Day-to-day programmatic and operational expenses.
- Computers and
computer education software.
- Educational and enrichment workshops
for women’s
empowerment.
- Parenting classes and support services
for single parents.
- Adult educational resources.
- Health and wellness resources for
families, the elderly, and persons with special needs.
- Scholarships
for child care and summer camp.
- Sponsorships for women for retreats
and workshops.
- Books, games, movies, art supplies, snacks, play
equipment for at-risk children.

Give the Gift

Cash gifts can be made on an unrestricted basis, which enables
the ministry to allocate the funds toward its greatest needs,
or designated
to a specific program or service. Make

Employer-Matching Contributions
Many companies match charitable contributions made by their employees,
in addition to making corporate gifts and grants. Contact your
Human Resources Department to find out if there is such a program
in your company.
Gifts of Securities, Property and Individual Retirement Accounts
You can make outright gifts of appreciated securities, tangible items—such
as works of art, equipment, books, furniture, antiques, real estate
and similar non-monetary contributions—and rollover amounts
from your IRA for those over age 70½ or by designating Mercy
Neighborhood Ministries as the beneficiary of your IRA. Many of these
forms of gifts offer tax benefits. For more information about making

Bequests, Memorials and Tribute Gifts
You can make a substantial gift to Mercy Neighborhood Ministries
